Elia Freedman, CEO and Founder

Elia Freedman has been a leader in handheld application development and sales since that market emerged and Infinity Softworks was founded in 1997. Elia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pacific University with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science. At Pacific University he received the distinguished graduate award from the business program. In 2000, Elia was honored as one of 150 distinguished Pacific University graduates. In 2001, he graduated Cum Laude, Oregon Graduate Institute (OHSU) with a Master's of Science in Management.

  • Has served as an advisor to PalmSource since 1999.
  • Negotiated early bundling relationships that have put Infinity Softworks' low-end calculation software on over 50% of Palm OS devices sold.
  • Serves as adhoc advisor to palmOne education marketing group.
  • Published articles for PalmPower magazine discussing the mathematics of finance.
  • Featured keynote speaker at multiple Oregon Entrepreneur Forum events. (OEF is a trade organization for Oregon entrepreneurs.) Also, was chosen in January 2004, as one of seven presenting companies at Angel Oregon, a major Oregon fund-raising event.

Teri Graf, VP Marketing & Sales

Teri Graf has worked with both large and small companies in sales, business development and marketing positions over her career exceeding 20 years. Those companies include startups and established names in technology: Hewlett Packard, Netscape, Motorola, Microtek Labs, Alps Electric, Neopost Online, Harmonix, Jump!Music, Inc., Apple Computer, Power Up Software, Coactive Computing, and Claris. Teri holds a MBA from Santa Clara University and BA in business administration from the University of the Pacific. Her past and on-going responsibilities include:

  • Oversee entrance into and growth in real estate and education markets.
  • Drive growth of strategic bundling relationships: from Sony, Garmin and ViewSonic to yet-to-be-announced partners in new technology niches.
  • Expand sales channels to include e-tailers and new distribution partners.
  • Liaison with new corporate, association and affiliate sales and marketing partnerships.

Gavin Redshaw, VP Technology

Gavin Redshaw has over 20 years of product development experience with Intel and several startup companies. While with these organizations, Gavin developed software applications for commercial use, including early implementations of technologies such as Voice Over Internet (VOIP), Internet video conferencing, and DVD playback on PCs. Gavin has been the lead product designer and programmer in a number of innovative hardware projects as well, including twelve-lead EKG capture and analysis applications using personal computer and handheld diagnostic instrumentation for small labs and doctors' offices. He graduated from Imperial College, University of London in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Has led the Infinity Softworks development team primarily focused on handheld technology since 2000.
  • Under Gavin's leadership, Infinity Softworks' products have consistently pushed the handheld computer's capabilities.
  • Serves as an informal advisor to palmOne, Sony and other handheld computer manufacturers, reviewing devices before released publicly.
  • Has worked with several companies advising on handheld computer product development.

John Harvey
Mathematics Chair at University of Wisconsin-Madison (retired). John has been integral in bringing technology to mathematics education. His work in the late 1980s and early 1990s were integral in calculator adoption on the Advanced Placement and later SAT exams. John served as an advisor to Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Casio in the 1990s. He received his PhD in Mathematics from Tulane University.

John Kenelly

His work in the late 1980s and early 1990s were integral in calculator adoption on the Advanced Placement and later SAT exams. John served as an advisor to Texas Instruments, Hewlett-Packard and Casio in the 1990s. He also served in multiple positions with the College Board, Mathematics Association of America and Mu Alpha Theta. He received his PhD from the University of Florida.

Tom Schmeltzer
General Manager, Technology Solutions. Has been in K-12 education since 1969, particularly focused on technology in education issues and strategies. Current clients include Disney, AOL, The Learning Company, Microsoft, IBM, Compaq, and Palm, among others.
