Order of Operations
powerOne uses the following precedence when determining order of operations (from top to bottom):
Negative (-x)
Powers and roots
Multiplication, division, and percentages
Addition and subtraction
Relationship operations (>, <=)
Logic or Boolean operations (or, and)
Use parentheses to change the order of operations.
In some calculators negate is considered lowest precedence and in others negate is the highest precedence. The mathematical community is split on this issue. powerOne calculates -2
2 as -4.
