powerOne Graph: New Features

Infinity Softworks is constantly improving its software. This document describes the major changes made from one version to the next (bug fixes are not listed). Click here to suggest features or report problems.

Version 4.2: (released 7/04)

• Function and polar equations can reference another graph equation by name.
• Crop data while in the Graph view.
• Derivative graphing analysis now includes second derivative.
• Maximum and minimum limits for graphing function equations.
• Changed how calculus functions handled tolerance.
• Added first and third quartile to the calculator function list.
• Improved integral function for increased precision.
• Other, various bug fixes.

Version 4.1: (released 3/04)

• Implicit multiplication.
• Polynomial root finding.
• Out of the box, now supports 160x160, 320x320, 320x480, 480x320 and 160x520 display sizes. 160x520 for graph window only.

Version 4: (released 8/03)

• Data plotting including scatter plots, bar graphs, histograms, normal distribution and box plots.
• Regression models such as: quadratic, logarithmic, cubic, quartic, logistic, median-median and sinusoidal (v3 includes linear, natural log, exponential and power).
• Advanced distribution and probability modeling.
• RPN input mode (v3 includes algebraic input mode).
• Sequence graphing (v3 includes function, polar, parametric).
• Statistics tests such as: t and z-tests, chi-squared tests, and ANOVAs.
• Import data from and export information to key education software applications such as: scientific probes, spreadsheets and word processors.
• Share data, graphs, and calculation templates to facilitate team exploration.

Version 3.1: (released 5/03)

• Palm OS 5 Support.
• High-Resolution Graphics: Supports (320x320) displays, and includes high-resolution launcher icon, keypad graphics and graphing.
• AlphaSmart Dana Wide-Screen Support.
• Supports updated financial library.
