Downloading Data Service data

Downloading from the Windows powerOne calculator

1. Run the powerOne Finance or powerOne Personal calculator on the Windows Desktop.
2. Select the small globe at the top of the calculator.
3. The first time the Data Service download is run the following screen will appear on the Windows desktop:
4. Input the e-mail address login and password used when purchasing the Data Service product from the Infinity Softworks website.
5. If handheld device is sychronized with this Windows verison of powerOne Finance the Pocket PC or Palm selections do not have to be chosen. They are used if a handheld only configuration is used.
6. If desired, select the Store Login and Password so the information does not have to be entered each time.
7. Select OK and the Data Service data will be automatically loaded to the powerOne calculator.

Downloading through the Windows powerOne Data Service client

The Windows Data Service client is used when the data files are being loaded directly to the handheld device through the Windows desktop system.

1. Run the powerOne Data Service client application on the Windows Desktop. Select Start->Programs->Data Service. The following screen will appear on the Windows desktop:
2. Input the e-mail address login and password used when purchasing the Data Service product from the Infinity Softworks website.
3. Select the type of handheld device (Pocket PC or Palm OS) that is being used.
4. If desired, select the Store Login and Password so the information does not have to be entered each time.
5. Select OK and the Data Service data will be automatically loaded to the appropriate folder on the PC.
6. Synchronize the handheld device from the PC.
7. Run the powerOne calculator on the handheld device.

Downloading via a wireless connection on a TREO or T5 device *

1. Select the powerOne Data Service icon from the Palm display.
2. The following screen will be displayed:
3. Input the e-mail address login and password used with purchasing the Data Service product from the Infinity Softworks website.
4. Select Get Data and the Data Service data will be automatically loaded to the device. It will load into the powerOne calculator the next time it is launched.

Problem Solving

1. Is the same e-mail and password being used as the ones used in purchasing the Data Service from the Infinity Softworks website?
2. Is the internet connection on this device currently working?
3. Did the installer run without error? If not, install the product again.
