Installing Software - Pocket PC Devices
IF YOU HAVE POWERONE ALREADY INSTALLED, MAKE SURE YOU EXIT FIRST. Run powerOne and
choose Exit on the powerOne menu.
- Place the Pocket PC handheld device in the cradle.
- Save the application file to your computer. REMEMBER THE SAVE LOCATION.
- Navigate to that location and double-click on the installer.
- If presented with an "Install Handheld Version" button, select it. Follow the
installation instructions.
- Run the software on your handheld device.
- With the device in the cradle, select "Install Pack" (if applicable). Follow the
installation instructions.
Note: the manual installs to the Start->Programs menu under the product name.

- Is ActiveSync installed? To install, see the CD-ROM that came with your handheld computer. If you have ActiveSync installation problems, contact your device manufacturer.
- Does your handheld computer synchronize? Make sure your cradle is connected to the desktop/laptop computer. If you cannot synchronize, contact your device manufacturer.
- Did the installer run without error? If not, try again. If it fails a second time, contact Infinity Softworks with an exact description of the problem.
- Did you close a previous installation of the application before installing? To close the application:
- Start the application.
- Choose "Exit" on the File menu.
- Did you synchronize your device? If not, do it now.
- Do you have enough memory available on your handheld? To see how much memory the Infinity Softworks application uses, see the product page. To check your device's available memory:
- Click on the Start button in the top, left-hand corner (Windows "flag").
- Select "Settings" from the list.
- Choose the "System" tab.
- Select the "Memory" option.
- See the available memory. Most displays show memory in megabytes (M or MB) while many applications are noted in kilobytes (K or KB). 1 MB is approximately equal to 1000 KB.
- Did you receive a file in use error? If so, remove the device from the cradle, wait 10 seconds, and select "Retry".
